As only time will tell, I plan to update this review in a about a month with any news. I purchased this NinjaBatt Laptop Battery HSTNN-C17C for a Compaq Presario V6210US notebook. Not wanting to invest a lot of money into this older Notebook, purchasing this battery was part of a plan to inexpensively repurpose it for someone who cannot afford a new computer. Part of this update was also to install Linux Mint OS, and the battery was recognized by the OS and has its capacity properly displayed. In closing, the $24.99 price tag was just right and allowed me to give new life to this notebook.
