## Description

Made of CIGS thin-film modules, the BougeRV Flexible Solar Panel, which is truly flexible to fit around curved structures, has a wider range of applications, such as streamlined RV roofs, hull, and house roofs

Review: Easy install and works well - This fit perfectly on the roof of my 25 ft airstream and keeps the batteries well charged.
Review: GREAT PANELS FOR 'NO-HOLES' INSTALLATION ON RV'S - For those who don't want to drill holes in the roof of their RV, this is a very good option. There are four adhesive strips on the back and the backing strips come off easily without mess even in hot weather. The adhesive is some sort of roofing cement like Henry's or something. Once the panel is laid down, it is not coming up. The panels are very flexible and durable. You can walk on them with no problem. I installed four 200W panels and at high noon. I am getting a total of 670W. Decent. My only real gripe with these are the price. They are spendy. However, Bouge often has deals on these and if you are patient, you might be able to pick these up in the low four hundred range. For me, the BougeRV Yuma 200W CIGS Thin-Film Flexible Solar Panel were a solid winner.

## Features

- SPEC and Installation 200W, via Tape*
- Parameters Info 85.6 x 26 Inches, 7.05 Lbs
- CIGS Technology Copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) is a thin-film solar cell technology. Unlike silicon-based solar cells, the CIGS thin-film solar cells are more flexible, stable, durable, light-sensitive, and last much longer. Therefore, investing in CIGS may provide you with more peace of mind and long-term benefits
- 360 Truly Flexible Equipped with thin-film solar cells, BougeRV CIGS Flexible Solar Panel achieves truly 360-degree bendability. Thus, it achieves wider application than the crystalline semi-flexible panels or rigid panels on RV, marine, yachts, or any curved surfaces
- More Stable Output Thanks to wire-intensive CIGS tech, BougeRV CIGS Flexible Solar Panel is more stable than the monocrystalline solar panel. As a result, it will gather more energy while partly shaded or in low-light conditions.Lightweight & Easy Installation The CIGS solar panels are far more convenient to carry about than their rigid counterparts since they are, on average, 70% lighter and 95% thinner.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What surfaces can the adhesive-backed version be installed on?**
A: Install on smooth, flat metal/plastic only. Avoid porous, rough, oily, textured, dusty/damp, and inflatable roofs. Ensure the surface is clean before installation

**Q: Why seal the windward edges?**
A: Sealing windward edges reduces wind resistance and fuel consumption on motorhomes; on boats, it prevents salt spray/seawater corrosion, extending lifespan

**Q: Why can't solar panels provide full output energy?**
A: Output is limited by sunlight, controller efficiency (PWM 75%, MPPT >90%), power station PV input limits... Check your station's voltage/current specs before connecting

**Q: Can this panel be used with a 24-volt system?**
A: A single CIGS solar panel is only suitable for a 12V system, but if two or more panels are connected in series, they can be used in a 24V system

**Q: What is the max series fuse rating and size for parallel panels?**
A: The fuse rating of a single panel is 10A. The fuse rating of N panels connected in parallel needs to be N times 10A

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 200W CIGS solar panels worth every penny! Higher rating than advertised!
*by R***N on 1 December 2024*

When I finally saw someone selling CIGS panels I went all in. Two 200w panels mounted to the front of my camper for optimal panel angle. On a partly cloudy November day in Texas, still producing over 400 watts. The panels themselves, if you do a little bit of maths with the specs, are actually 285 watt panels in a perfect world. I guess BougeRV oversized them considering most people would mount them horizontal, to offset the 20-25% loss of horizontal mounting and their customers could still get the 200w advertised output. Genius! Even better for me with an optimal mounting angle! I paid for 400w, and got 500w!
