Fish looking amazing and now I know which products do and dont work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says on the tin. *by M***T on 8 May 2017* I've been sceptical of bacteria in a bottle but decided to give it a go when setting up a 350L planted tank. I already had a couple of small tanks and was moving house at the time so I needed to be able to get the fish in the new tank ASAP. This was the perfect product for that. Within a few (3-4) days the tank had fully cycled. Daily tests showed the ammonia (from the soil) drop, nitrite rise and then fall, leaving behind a large amount of nitrate which cleared with a big water change. This only worked as well as it did for me because the soil I used leached a fair amount of ammonia for the bacteria to feed on. Make sure you have a source of ammonia either by adding it manually, through aquarium soil, or by adding a few fish as per bottle instructions. I'd recommend the first two options over adding fish but I appreciate in some situations (like moving house) this wont always be an option.
