Finished in classic white, it includes a built-in photo frame and detachable serving tray, plus safety features like boil dry protection and auto shut-off. Compact and mains operated, it’s the perfect blend of vintage style and practical luxury for the discerning tea lover. ## Description Extremely popular in the 1950s, this Swan Teasmade is the perfect way to start the day. Easy to use, just add water to the reservoir before you go to bed, drop your favourite tea bags or loose leaf tea into the ceramic teapot, set the alarm, and wake up to a perfectly timed, piping hot pot of tea. What better way to start the day? Finished in classic white, it incorporates a photograph frame (12cm x8cm/4 3/4in x3in) for that personal touch, and a useful detachable serving tray which can hold two cups and saucers that store neatly on top of the machine. The clear, easy to read clock has an analogue face and the alarm can be switched from alarm with tea, alarm only (with snooze function) or completely off. The "Now" function can also be used to make tea in just a few minutes, as and when you want it without use of the alarm. Mains operated, this compact Swan Teasmade measures D19cm xL31cm xH20.5cm (7 1/2in x12 1/4in x8in) and makes up to three good-sized cups (or two large mugs) of tea from one pot. For added safety the kettle has a boil dry protector, auto shut-off after ten minutes and comes complete with a 1 year guarantee. Cups and saucers not supplied. Review: Fantastic start to the morning 😊 - I bought this as our bedroom is on the 2nd floor and I always get up and then take my cuppa back to bed. I remember my Mum and Dad having one of these back in the 80’s and thought I would treat myself. I read the reviews and kept an open mind. It really is great to wake up to the whooshing of the last boiling water filling the teapot. We had to dim the light to its lowest setting but find this is now fine and ideal for a small amount of light in the middle of the night if we need to get up. The ticking of the clock takes a little getting used to but is not really a criticism. No louder then a wall clock. The settings are easy to use and the clock is accurate. I have two criticisms of the teasmade and they are-the alarm that sounds after the tea is made. I wish there were an option for tea without alarm as its not right next to the bed and have to get up literally as the pot fills or the alarm would wake the whole street. Only other fault is that the lid of the pot gets scalding hot. Due to the bad design of the lid, you have to hold it on or it would fall off. I tried putting the teapot in place without the lid and then just popping the lid on when the pot is full. This works better as you can hold the lid on then without burning yourself. All in all, a great little product at a superb price which will be especially great on cold winter mornings. Word of warning......make sure you always put the lid on the water tank. Only forgot this once and ended up with hot water splashed all over the walls as it does not finish boiling without the lid on. Silly me!! Review: A very efficient service and a great product. A similar price to other hot water ... - The clock didn't work on it so no alarm! I emailed the seller and within 2 days they sent me another! Everything working this time so I have no complaints at all. A very efficient service and a great product. A similar price to other hot water dispensers that just provide hot water, no alarm, no tea. The clock does make a small regular noise that can either be soothing or annoying but it doesn't bother me, I can't hear it most of the time. Overall I love this product. ## Features - Extremely popular in the 1950s. - Easy to use, just add water to the reservoir before you go to bed, drop your favourite tea bags or loose leaf tea into the ceramic teapot, set the alarm, and wake up to a perfectly timed, piping hot pot of tea. - Finished in classic white, it incorporates a photograph frame (12cm x8cm/4 3/4in x3in) for that personal touch, and a useful detachable serving tray - The clear, easy to read clock has an analogue face and the alarm can be switched from alarm with tea, alarm only (with snooze function) or completely off. - Mains operated, this compact Swan Teasmade measures D19cm xL31cm xH20.5cm (7 1/2in x12 1/4in x8in) and makes up to three good-sized cups (or two large mugs) of tea from one pot. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B017W9BCO4 | | Brand Name | Coopers of Stortford | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 233 Reviews | | Material Type | Ceramic | ## Images ![1950's Style Bedside Swan Teasmade with Photograph Frame - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41CJf5LNjFL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic start to the morning 😊 *by N***A on 4 October 2018* I bought this as our bedroom is on the 2nd floor and I always get up and then take my cuppa back to bed. This new 1950's model is excellent but I found the design of the new teapot a big disappointment!! I have discarded the new teapot and replaced it with the previous model teapot as I have three serviceable teapots on the "Top Shelf". The older design is bigger, holds more and is very much more robust and in fact produces a better cup of tea. What would my dear wife and I do without our Teasmade! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50497864-1950s-style-bedside-swan-teasmade-with-photograph-frame](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50497864-1950s-style-bedside-swan-teasmade-with-photograph-frame) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
