This is the second one I have owned. The problem tho, was that my old vehicle was a 2016 Expedition and this one is a 2020 Expedition. I contacted the manufacturer asking them to replace it but instead of standing behind their product, they offered me 40% off a new one because they were of the opinion that I had either backed into something, or because someone had hit the twiststep, neither of which was true. The bracket broke because my two 85 pound german shepherds jumped on it for two years during the course of normal wear and tear.
