Review: This has become one of my favorite tools in my box! - As a professional tech I also tend to be frugal. There's no way I was about to shell out hundreds of dollars for a 1/4 inch socket set from a tool truck. It's not like they have to handle a lot of torque or abuse! And since 1/4 sockets are so small they are super easy to lose as well! Instead I had been purchasing 1/4 inch chrome socket sets from parts stores or harbor freight for under $10. The price was right but I'd be lucky to get a few months use out of these before they became deformed and unusable. I finally decided to "splurge" on a decent set when I stumbled across this kit! All i can say is wow! They've held up great! They fit the nuts and bolts perfectly and the price is right! My ONLY complaint about this set is that they seem to fit just a little bit loose on my 1/4 inch extensions. It's almost like the lock fits loose in the hole on the sockets and I have to be a little bit careful because it doesn't take much for the socket to come off of my extensions. However I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing as because of this I'm much more careful about these sockets and I feel like that helps to keep me from losing them! I will note that many years ago I owned a set of Sunex 3/8" swivel sockets and they didn't last very long at all before the swivel portion would break. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of these sockets because of my experience with those but like I said so far these have been great!
Review: not typial Chinese made junk, these are good sockets! - This is my 3rd set of Sunex socket sets, having previoulsy purchaed the 1/2" and 3/8" sets. I have had those for several years and use them hard. Working on truck suspension parts requires high torque impact guns and at times long breaker bars. this puts a lot of stress on the socket and these have not failed me. As good as my Crafstman set that these replaced. I good assortment of sizes as well. Nice sturdy box. These are NOT your typical chinese amde Harbor Freight type throwaway tool. Made to last. I would buy again, but unless I lose some I doubt I will need to, they really are decent sockets.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This has become one of my favorite tools in my box!

As a professional tech I also tend to be frugal. There's no way I was about to shell out hundreds of dollars for a 1/4 inch socket set from a tool truck. It's not like they have to handle a lot of torque or abuse! And since 1/4 sockets are so small they are super easy to lose as well! Instead I had been purchasing 1/4 inch chrome socket sets from parts stores or harbor freight for under $10. The price was right but I'd be lucky to get a few months use out of these before they became deformed and unusable. I finally decided to "splurge" on a decent set when I stumbled across this kit! All i can say is wow! They've held up great! They fit the nuts and bolts perfectly and the price is right! My ONLY complaint about this set is that they seem to fit just a little bit loose on my 1/4 inch extensions. It's almost like the lock fits loose in the hole on the sockets and I have to be a little bit careful because it doesn't take much for the socket to come off of my extensions. This is my 3rd set of Sunex socket sets, having previoulsy purchaed the 1/2" and 3/8" sets. I have had those for several years and use them hard. Working on truck suspension parts requires high torque impact guns and at times long breaker bars. this puts a lot of stress on the socket and these have not failed me. As good as my Crafstman set that these replaced. I good assortment of sizes as well. Nice sturdy box. These are NOT your typical chinese amde Harbor Freight type throwaway tool. Made to last. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nearly completed my 1/4in Socket Trays

I was shopping around for sockets to fill my Hansen Socket Trays and have heard a lot of good things regarding Sunex so I decided to give this set a try as I didn’t already own any 1/4in drive impact sockets. After some extensive shopping, I couldn’t find a more complete and praised set at a decent price other than this Sunex set. Great first impression after unboxing the set and I’ll update this review if I ever have a sub-par experience after using them for a while. Something I was specifically looking for was to completely fill my 1/4in Hansen Socket trays and this Sunex set nearly does it. The metric tray is compelrlty filled, and I’ll just need to hunt down a few more for my SAE tray. I did have an issue fitting two sockets on the trays, the deep 4.5mm and the deep 9/16. I managed to get the deep 9/16 socket to fit after some very light filing. The 4.5mm I’ll need to work on a bit more to get it to fit the post on the tray.
