The bottom of it is elastic and was kind of long so I kept tripping on it. When I used it to lift my dress up it did not work. I still needed to have two people help. It was also super hot so I ended up ripping it off as soon as I had a chance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works if you Wear a Corset *by A***K on Reviewed in the United States on 3 November 2023* The drawstring around your waist is elastic so unless you’re wearing a corset, it’s probably going to dig into your waist or not be able to support the weight of your skirts, one or the other. A thick fabric or elastic waistband with a drawstring would have been a better option, even if that meant that you would then have to introduce sizing rather than having a one size fits all garment. That being said, it mostly does work well. I wore it to manage my renaissance fest skirts and I think it works best if you’re able to sit on the toilet seat after gathering the skirts. It’s hard to manage around the big poof if you’re trying to squat over the seat, too. But it does keep the skirts up off the floor and out of questionable puddles while you do your business. Just take something along to sanitize the toilet seat before you sit on it, and you’ll be fine. The fabric itself is synthetic, so it’s going to be a bit warmer. It wasn’t terrible- it is thin, and I was wearing it in October- but I could see this thing getting hot in the summer. Maybe they need a summer version made of cotton gauze or something. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50689414-bridal-buddy-as-seen-on-shark-tank](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50689414-bridal-buddy-as-seen-on-shark-tank) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
