A: My guess (without having actually measured the openings) would be about two and a half inches.

A: size is 350mm x300mm x 150 mm in height (approx.)

A: Sorry don’t sell caps

**Q: Can you pour boiling hot water into this waste water carrier?**
A: Yes. I have emptied boiling water from cooking such as potatoes into it via the sink and short waste pipe and not had any problems. If it has been collecting water for a while, boiling water is not likely to have any effect when it mixes with it as it cools down immediately.

This waste tank is strong, well-made and excellent value for money. It will do exactly what it was designed to do. My only problem with it was that, when the tank was full (or almost full), I wasn't strong enough to carry it (back problems) and have had to buy a (much more expensive) version with wheels. If you're strong enough to lift (and carry) this tank when it's full, then buy one. If, like me, you have had a few back problems and can't lift heavy items, then go for a waste tank with wheels.
