    Excellent Xing Yi Quan Study Guide

I have been a student of Xing Yi Quan for 8 years and I found that the book filled in some gaps in my learning. My training has been traditional Xing Yi and I was very pleased when I discovered that Master Gong also teaches traditional style. My Sifu taught me 10 animal forms instead of 12 and I was always curious as to the dragon and sparrow forms. The book allowed me to learn and incorporate these two forms into my training regiment. Also Master Gong's depth of knowledge conveyed in the book allowed me to refine my hand techniques. The book is not for the novice and is best used as a supplement to training with a qualified teacher.

good to reading up on Xing Yi Quan.  There are few other good book on Xing Yi Quan from Amazon.  Remember, Xing Yi Quan from many different origins.  Most popular is from Shanxi.
