## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is it made**
A: imprinted on the back it reads "Made in Australia". Hope that helps!

**Q: Does the bottom warp? I have a glass top stove.**
A: I have used mine on a gas stove on high heat and in the oven to over 500 degrees F. It has not warped

**Q: How do you season this pan?**
A: Per the instructions. Coat with a light coat of neutral oil and cook in 450 over for a couple of hours. Let cool

**Q: how do you clean the pan?**
A: I seasoned my pans in the oven even though they came preseasoned. I seasoned them 3 times prior to use. I also use a small amount of oil and heat it in the pan prior to adding the food I’m cooking. This helps to insure non-stick. After cooking I allow the pan to cool down prior to cleaning. I clean with warm water and a sponge. I have a plastic scraper if there should be any stuck on food. Very rarely happens. I have used a mild dish liquid with no problem. After washing dry with a dish towel thoroughly then place the pan on the stove on a burner over low to medium heat. This is to make sure pan is completely dry. Then while the pan is still hot I put a few drops of flaxseed oil in the pan and wipe it around with a paper towel. This gives the interior a reseasoning. Make sure you do it while pan is still hot and be careful not to burn yourself. You can also do the outside as well. Don’t use too much oil or you’ll start getting a sticky pan from excessive oil buildup and have to strip it and start all over. I really love the three pans I have. Good luck.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice pan
*by F***. on April 17, 2019*

I had a lodge, a Field skillet, and a Matfer, this one is the best of them all.Easiest to season looks good and cooks good. I used the Crisbee for a few rounds, but the Flax oil pills, (punctured) did a nicer job and gave a darker color. The Matfer was horrible to season too slick nothing would stick to it. You think it looks great you baby it but under hot water it would come off. This pan is rough so the seasoning sticks good. Actually its very rough the blue shop towels will leave lint because of the rough surface.Update: I did 12 rounds of Flax on my grill 1 hour at 500 deg. it looked great eggs slid around really well, BUT after letting it cool and rinsing with no soap at all the seasoning started to turn lighter and I could see it on a paper towel.I give up, a lot of work for cooking a few ommellettes. I have very expensive pans that will never peel anyway this is a total waste of time trying to win a battle with a pan. Look at Youtube at the people using these pan in the name of health, see what they look like? Its not a health issue to cook with more butter and oils its a battle with a pan, LOL.

### ⭐⭐⭐ but I returned it because it was heavier than I preferred and I didn't like the texture of the surface
*by A***A on September 26, 2017*

This priduct was as described, but I returned it because it was heavier than I preferred and I didn't like the texture of the surface. I ordered a much less expensive carbon steel skillet which serves my purposes very well and which I enjoy using.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works really well
*by A***R on July 8, 2020*

I love this pan. My first iron steel pan. I does take sometime about 2 weeks of cooking to get a good season on the pan. I did their requirements on seasoning the pan. I did 4 times. It hardly now sticks at all. Love seeing the color changed to a darker brown/black. Easy to clean. I have been watching Youtube on cleaning and seasoning of this kind of pan. If you have not ever had one of these pans, I would recommend to watch some the Youtube videos on care. I will be purchasing more in time and replacing all my nonstick pans.
