Thanks!** A: Sorry haven’t got a dishwasher but it’s a very good item to have if you just need a single cup of coffee **Q: If the measuring lines are on the outside, how do I know when the water level reaches the right line...unless the filter is transparent???** A: I used trial and error but it worked out OK from the start. I added a size 4 filter and stopped pouring a couple of centimetres from the top of the filter and it was perfect for a normal sized regular mug. I don't have milk though so adjust accordingly. Once you get it right it is easy thereafter. **Q: how much coffee do you need in grams** A: Hi Obviously it depends on how many cups you are making, how strong you like your coffee and how intense/ strong the coffee is. I drink it black so I might make it a little weaker than for a coffee with milk If I am making one large mug, I put in two scoops ( i.e. 2 x 7grams) I don't fill water to the top tho' if I am making one mug. Italian stove top, nasty white plastic filter thing in the 1990s..coffee press that periodically spurted boiling water all over my hands.. and I settled on the dripper cone about 15 years ago.. pour and 1 min later you’re done. I’ve got a couple in case I need to make a few coffees .. easy, quick and way cheaper per cup than nespresso.
