Very good for cramped space, there is a screw top to it so you don’t have to shimmy it up typically. Awesome for aligning caravans as pushes them straight up as opposed to moving everywhere with car jack. However because it’s smaller it puts that entire pressure onto a small area underneath it, so make sure you are on solid footing and you can have up to 10t of weight on an area less than half ft2. Make sure you store upright! Also I would add for lowered cars or have less clearance this wouldn’t be suitable. Lastly, the handle isn’t that long so if you have something that is a stretch away, you will need a length of metal pipe. Apart from that the bottle jack is quality, the things above are not bad points just to be aware of of. I have this and I would buy again Review: Great bottle jack - This is great value for money. The lifting process is slow compared to a trolley jack but most bottle jacks are unless you get into buying a much more expensive double lift bottle jack. The rod handle is adequate. It's a bit on the flimsy side but does the job. The jack body itself is solid and heavy to handle. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. ## Features - Warning:Only for domestic use - Sturdy all-steel construction, quick-fit handle & safety overload valve - Robust, stable & safe - Large sturdy base & easy height-adjustment screw - 10 tonne lifting capacity & 205 - 309mm range - Conforms to EN1494:2000+A1:2008 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0015NRKI6 | | Best Sellers Rank | 40,086 in Business, Industry & Science ( See Top 100 in Business, Industry & Science ) 32 in Bottle Jacks | | Brand | Silverline | | Brand Name | Silverline | | Colour | Blue | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 336 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05024763026416 | | Included Components | Hydraulic Bottle Jack | | Item Dimensions | 28 x 14 x 18.5 centimetres | | Item Type Name | Silverline 598558 Hydraulic Bottle Jacks 10 Tonne | | Item Weight | 0.09 Kilograms | | Load Capacity | 10 tons | | Load capacity | 10 tons | | Manufacturer | Silverline | | Manufacturer Part Number | 598558 | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Maximum Lifting Height | 390 Millimetres | | Maximum lifting height | 390 Millimetres | | Minimum Height | 205 Millimetres | | Model Number | 598558 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Style Name | 598558 | | Vehicle service type | Car | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Silverline - **Load capacity:** 10 ton - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Maximum lifting height:** 390 Millimetres - **Vehicle service type:** Car ## Images ![Silverline Hydraulic Bottle Jack 10 Tonne (598558), BLUE - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51uiB4GS9nL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid worker *by K***N on 8 November 2022* Have not tried it up to 10t yet but works a treat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 ton Bottle jack *by T***P on 9 July 2012* Firstly I've seen other reviews saying they have bought this jack to lift there car and its no good, I wouldn't recomend this jack to lift a car either these sort of jacks are designed for lifting high clearence agritectural & construction machinery amongst others. If your wanting to lift a car I would strongly recomend a 'crocodile' trolly jack or a scissor jack. So getting to the reason I purchased the jack, I purchased this jack to be used in a homemade hydraulic press that is constructed from 4"x4" fence post bolted together with M12 bolts which is being used in my workshop for assembling metal fittings that have a interference fit (such as bearings on shafts). It has also found a use crushing down empty gas cans (careful!) & other metal scrap so that it takes up less space while awaiting recycling. Overall a great product, only got 4stars due to the fact it comes in a case but this was smashed and it has no carry handle as in the picture (this is no biggy if like me can weld one on:).) ## Frequently Bought Together - Silverline Hydraulic Bottle Jack 10 Tonne (598558), BLUE - Sealey Ak730 Breaker Bar 600Mm 1/2Sq Drive - Silverline Axle Stand Set 2pce 3 Tonne (763620) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50893214-silverline-hydraulic-bottle-jack-10-tonne-598558-blue](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50893214-silverline-hydraulic-bottle-jack-10-tonne-598558-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
