A: The shank of the subject drill chuck is MT2 , Morse Taper number 2. If the drill press take the MT2 shank, it will fit. The dia of the drill press spindle hole shall be 0.70" for MT2.

**Q: Wil this Chuck convert a 1/2"  to a 1"?**
A: It can hold a 1/32 to 5/8 shank drill bit

**Q: Is it possible to remove the MT2 shank to install the chuck on a drill press?**

**Q: will the chuck work on a guardian power drill press model BDM-58-12s**
A: I do not know. The chuck is a "M2" taper it should fit. If your drill press is "M3" taper you will have to buy a "M3" to a "M2" adapter. search with this title
