Engineered for small to XX-large birds, it features shock-absorbing cords that expand up to 100%, providing safe, lightweight flight freedom. Perfect for training and extending flight range, this leash extension balances durability with comfort, helping your bird build strength while preventing escapes. ## Description Product description Always attach Flight Extension wrist strap securely to your wrist and hold adjoining section of leash in your hand for extra security. The Flight Extension clasp is small but strong. Because a bird will be carrying the leash when he fly's it is necessary to make every part as light as possible. Take care to carefully attach the clasp to the harness wrist strap without damaging the wrist strap material. A flying bird is carrying the weight of the harness and 1/2 the weight of the leash. It can take some experience for a bird to develop the muscles and cardiovascular system to fly without becoming exhausted. The Aviator Harness is escape proof however it is not damage proof. The harness material is very strong but with enough time a bird can damage the harness so it is necessary to check the harness each time it is used to make sure it is not being slowly damaged by your bird. Damaged harnesses can often be repaired or reinforced if a bird likes to cheew on a particular spot. Feel free to contact us regarding repairs and replacements. Directions 1. Attach the Flight Extension wrist strap securely to your wrist. 2. Hold the adjoining section of leash in your hand for extra security. 3. Carefully attach the clasp to the harness wrist strap without damaging the wrist strap material. 4. Check the harness for any damage before each use. 5. Make sure the leash and harness are not too heavy for the bird. 6. Gradually increase flight time to allow the bird to build muscles and cardiovascular system. ## Features - Aviator Harness Leash Extensions attach directly onto Aviator Harness wrist strap. - Beginners should start with short Leash Extension to gain experience with your flight area. It is easy to misgauge distances and allow your bird to land on a tree limb or roof that is out of reach. Many birds that are learning to fly are able to fly up but afraid to fly down from high perches. - Leash Extensions are made from high quality nylon and rubber shock cords that expand as much as 100% depending upon the health and strength of your friend. - Do not connect multiple extensions together. The connection can become snagged on grass making it difficult for a bird to maintain flight. Mow grass short to eliminate as much drag as possible when flying. - Other Aviator products the Aviator Bird Harness, Aviator Flight Line, Aviator Yard Perch, Aviator T-Shirt, and Custom Harness Sizes available for all birds. Example: Turkeys, Peafowl, Swans, Herons. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01INXSS18 | | Best Sellers Rank | 170,568 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 639 in Basic Dog Halter Harnesses | | Brand Name | The AVIATOR | | Closure Type | Clip | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (110) | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Item Display Dimensions | 25 x 25 x 14 millimetres | | Manufacturer | The Parrot University | | Manufacturer Part Number | ALE3 | | Material Type | Rubber,Nylon | | Model Number | ALE3 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Pet Type | Bird | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Size | 10 ft/3 m for Small to XX-Large Aviator Harness | | Target Species | Cockatiel | | UPC | 857867001646 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** The AVIATOR - **Colour:** Black - **Material:** Rubber,Nylon - **Pattern:** Solid - **Size:** 10 ft/3 m for Small to XX-Large Aviator Harness ## Images ![Bird Harness Leash Extension: 10 foot/3 meter for Small to XX-Large Aviator Harness - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ib67lG+kL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Aviator Bird Harness Leash Extension: 10 Foot/3 Meter for Small to XX-Lar... - Harrison's Bird Foods High Potency Fine Certified Organic Non GMO Formula Bird Food 1lb - Harrison's Bird Foods Bird Food Adult Lifetime Fine Certified Organic Non-GMO Formula Bird Food 1lb --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50917957-bird-harness-leash-extension-10-foot-3-meter-for-small](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/50917957-bird-harness-leash-extension-10-foot-3-meter-for-small) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
