Tommy HilfigerMen's Multifunction Stainless Steel Case and Leather Strap Watch, Color: Brown (Model: 1792053)

I was really happy with the quality of this watch. I did not realize that Tommy Hilfiger made watches this nice. The muti-layered dial is described as a parchment style and displays the day of the week, the day of the month, and 24h time. The steel was in great condition with no scratches or blemishes. The thick, leather band was also in great shape and had sturdy stitching. It does say that it is best to have it professionally maintained and replace the battery every 3-5 years which might be a bit inconvenient. I intended to give this watch as a gift to a friend, but I must admit I am tempted to keep it for myself. I really like it and recommend it.

If we get straight into the details, this is not a great watch. Plastic crystal. Light, metal frame. Worst, the band is made out of what is seeming the same leather I might get a cheap wallet made of. It's like rawhide, not at all soft. Even the metal clip is cheap and inconsequential.At the same time, the overall look and style is nice. It tells time fine. You have the date and day, as well as the 12hr shift, the last which I like. The actual look of the watch, again putting aside the feel, which is cheap and not comfortable, is definitely something to carry an evening. Maybe you normally sport a blue faced metal watch, or black and what you really need is brown. Well, for a modest purchase price, you get a fair watch that will look good and carry the Tommy name.I have a main watch which is a Fendi, and I tell you, for twenty years, no watch has looked or felt as good to me. I was coming from Tag Heuer in that hour, and though the Tag was three times the price, it didn't at all bring me the joy like the Fendi.You don't have to have Tag or Rolex to have a really nice watch, which is why I was quite interested in this release. Sadly, I think they got it backwards. They are trading on the name at the expense of quality, and they would have done much better to have simply added higher quality components, even if the price point was higher.In the end, I consider this is still a decent starter watch for those who do want style and a name, but don't have the bank for much more than a finsky. It'll likely work for a number of years without issue, and I suspect the band will soften in time and with some wear.Was hoping for more, yet suspect some will be quite pleased. Hope for the best for them, as I am really a fan of Tommy items.

I really liked the warm colors of this watch. It's elegant enough for a more dress up occasion yet relaxed enough for a casual night out. The leather band is comfortable and offers a good number of holes for adaptability of wrist width. While the watch is not as heavy as similarly styled watches, it does serve its purpose. I do believe it's a bit higher priced than it should be despite its TH name.

Really nice watch, the leather strap stitching is clean and the face is easy to read.
