Review: Best Trail-cam that I've owned - I don't expect SLR photographic quality from a $50 trail camera, so I'm completely satisfied with the images that I've seen so far. Night photos are good enough for surveillance purposes. Animals may be somewhat blurred in low light, depending on how fast they are moving because of the slow shutter speed necessary. I've set the cam so that it will shoot two images in sequence at 5 megapixels, which is more than adequate for screen viewing. That's the default size, and I don't see any purpose to increase it because it's unlikely that I'll print any of them. Large photos require more time to transfer and use more space on the card - for little to no improvement in typical screen viewing. What I like about the Usogood over other cameras that I've owned is the ease of transferring the images from the camera to my PC with the included USB cable. With the camera powered down and the cable inserted, it automatically appears as a separate USB drive on the PC. Photos transferred quickly to the computer. Click and drag the 100MEDIA subfolder using the file manager on Windows, Linux, or Mac then drop it into any directory of your choice on your PC without having to remove the microSD card from the cam. After the transfer is successful you can delete the files from the camera or reformat the SD card. No additional software and no Wifi setup is needed. Wifi would drain batteries faster so I don't see any point in paying extra for that option. The menu system is simple enough to understand and the battery compartment has a separate latch. The original batteries are still working after a month, and the trick is to not use the built-in screen any longer than necessary to do the setup procedure. Rechargeable batteries can be used, or a 6VDC transformer (or external 6v battery pack) will plug into the universal 6v receptacle on the bottom. On the bottom there's a tripod mount, and on the back is a molded bracket to be used with included tree straps or a cord or cable. In my case I purchased a 3-pack of tree screw mounting brackets to avoid using the included tree straps. That makes it simpler to mount and dismount the camera and also makes it less noticeable to humans. There's nothing to dislike about this camera in my opinion. I purchased two.
Review: Decent Cameras So Far! - I purchased three of these cameras and have been testing them out over the last month. So far so good!! They are so easy to setup. There's a variety of settings to choose from and the menus are simple to navigate. I like that you can adjust the resolution, video length, etc. and there enough variables to choose between higher quality/resolution vs maintaining battery life. Granted, these are my first trail cams so I don't have much to compare to but I find the photo and video quality to be good. Haven't bothered much with sound. The build quality seems very good as well. Especially at this price point. My only gripe thus far is that the side sensors seem a little sluggish. Some of my photos and videos seem to trigger only when the animal is directly in front of the camera meaning the photo or video only catches it mid-frame. In the video, you can watch it walk out of the frame but not so much into it, if that makes sense. Still playing with the settings and positioning of the cameras to see if there is a way to improve this. It's a minor thing, anyway. So far we capture ourselves & our dogs the most 😂 but also lots of deer, opossum, fox ..... Attached photo is a bobcat at night. Camera was set to a very low resolution & tucked into some bushes (not ideal setup as you can see) but the quality was still decent IMO. If the focal point hadn't been the bushes the cat would've easily been more clear. I'll post some better examples in the future. Overall very happy with my purchase. Will likely buy a few more.

**Q: Why is memory card designed instead of micro memory card?**
A: Because the camera is used outdoors, it is very difficult to retrieve the micro memory card if accidentally dropped into the grass, so the standard memory card design is used to make it easier to retrieve.

**Q: How to view recorded videos and pictures?**
A: There are three ways: 1. The camera directly previews; 2. Use the card reader to view on the computer; 3 Connect the camera with a cable to view it on your computer.

**Q: Can't boot up? Screen countdown can't enter Settings?**
A: ON-TEST-OFF is a 3-section slider key; The default key is OFF; Slide to "TEST" to enter the setting screen. After sliding to "ON" the countdown is over, the screen will be black and the shooting will enter the working state.

**Q: Why do some versions of TC30 have green indicators and some versions only have red indicators?**
A: TC30 This product is from the early 1080P, gradually upgraded to 2K, to the current 4K, this process has changed the definition of the indicator. Among them, the 1080P and 2K have green PIR indicators. 4K is only red PIR indicator light.

**Q: Why can't the battery compartment of the camera be loaded with rechargeable batteries?**
A: Product standard AA nickel-metal hydride battery (Ni-MH), due to the rechargeable battery brand, the size difference is large, not all can be adapted. When purchasing, ensure that the 1.5V rechargeable battery is used to prevent abnormal function.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sensitive and fogs up

This game camera is great, it was easy to set up. The night vision works great on it. It has about a 20 yard or so field of view at night. The battery life is great! And the quality of pictures isn’t terrible. My biggest complaint is the amount the camera wants to fog up at times. I live in the south where the humidity is high and I think that’s what’s causing this, but 1 every 20 pictures or so is fogged over and you can’t tell what you’re looking at. But everything else is great! Also, I had my camera on low sensitivity and it would still take random pictures through the day from just the wind. Some might not think that’s important but 300 pictures of nothing but rustling leaves kills the storage.
