A Multi-Resolution Output (MRO) feature lets users send a compatible HDMI signal to output displays with different resolutions. It does not create an extended desktop or two independent screens. For extended displays, use a computer with multiple video outputs or a dedicated multi-display adapter. **Q: How do I use it with one 4K display and one 1080p display?** A: Connect the 4K display to Output 1 and the 1080p display to Output 2, then turn on the downscale function. Output 1 has EDID priority, so the 4K display should be connected there for best compatibility. **Q: Does it downscale all video formats?** A: No. It is designed for common HDMI downscaling such as 4K to 1080p. It does not downscale to 720p, does not convert interlaced/progressive scan types, and may not support uncommon resolutions such as 1440p or 1920x1280. **Q: Can I split ARC/eARC audio from my TV to a soundbar and another audio system?** A: No. This splitter is not designed for ARC/eARC. ARC/eARC requires two-way communication between a TV and one audio device. For ARC/eARC setups, use an ARC-compatible audio extractor or dedicated audio solution. ## Frequently Bought Together - J-Tech Digital HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out 4K 60Hz Multi-Resolution Output (MRO) HDMI 2.0 Splitter Supports Downscale HDR HDR10 / Dolby Vision 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 HDCP2.3 2.2 (JTECH-4KSP2) - Amazon Basics HDMI Cable, 3ft, 4K@60Hz, High-Speed 4K HDMI 2.0 Cord (18Gbps), 2160p, 48 bit, Compatible with TV/PS5/Xbox/Roku, Black - HDMI Switch 4k@60hz Splitter, GANA Aluminum Bidirectional HDMI Switcher 2 in 1 Out, Manual HDMI Hub Supports HD Compatible with Xbox PS5/4/3 Blu-Ray Player Fire Stick Roku --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/510966930-hdmi-splitter-4k-60hz-1x2-multi-resolution-output-mro-by](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/510966930-hdmi-splitter-4k-60hz-1x2-multi-resolution-output-mro-by) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
