I am so impressed that I have encouraged other family members to buy this. You can just add your rice, water, salt, click a button and walk away. The ability to walk away is the best part. It cooks perfectly and also keeps it warm. The only thing to note is that it's not 100% clear how much water to add. But a quick check online and you'll see its the same as regular rice cooking. I always wash my rice thoroughly in a sieve and have never had any issues with the Bear rice cooker.
