I was concerned the fumes would bother some, or if you are like me and will run the heater into the summer you might melt it.. I was able to take some jewelry posts and use an awl to bore a small hole through the flower. Bending the post around the vent clip and then running it through the dahlia I was then able to bend the post back on itself to secure the flower to the clip. I spritzed the dahlia with my fav perfume and stuck it in my vent. It took me less than 5 minutes to do this for a trial run. It clipped securely to my vent and it has the personal feel that I love.
