Utilizing intelligent pH surfactants, Reset breaks down road grime and traffic films with the power of an alkaline cleaner, whilst being as gentle on the surface as a pH-neutral shampoo. Afterwards Reset quickly rinses free from the surface, leaving behind no soap residues or interfering silicones, and restoring the beading and dirt releasing properties (The ‘Hydrophobic Effect’) of the surface to help maintain its protection. Combined with excellent lubrication, a strong foaming action for improved dirt suspension, and a high dilution ratio, this makes for a highly effective and economical wash. At the same time, Reset is almost entirely based upon naturally occurring, organic ingredients, making it as safe for the environment and for the user as it is for the vehicle. If dirt is hiding the beauty of your car or motorcycle, then you know that it is time for a Reset! Should I dilute it and at what ratio?** A: Yes the dilution ratio is 1:500 (yes thats correct, this stuff is very concentrated and works great) **Q: Do you use this with every wash?** A: I purchased this product because I have a Ceramic coating applied to my vehicle. This product was recommended by the Detailing Shop that applied the Ceramic coating as a wash that would not harm the Ceramic coating. So, Yes - I plan on using it each time with a car wash foam gun. **Q: 500:1 with Foam Canon? Pressure washer already adds a lot of water, so what ratio water/solution should go in canon tank to achieve 500:1 on car?** A: I don’t really think you shoot for 500:1, I think you shoot for a ratio that gives you thick foam. I drew a line on the bottom of my foam cannon bottle, my guess is about an ounce of soap to 32/33 ounces of water (a liter bottle). To wash my Camaro uses about half a bottle, so I get two washes out of that mix. **Q: Could i use this as a first step wash, before applying my claybar, ceramic coat, etc?** A: This is a PH Neutral shampoo for coated vehicle. I would use chemical guys clean slate to strip any wax on the vehicle before any ceramic coating and you can also use it as a lubricant for clay bar. ## Frequently Bought Together - CARPRO Reset - Intensive Car Wash Shampoo Perfect for Ceramic Coating & Nanotechnology Based Sealants and Coatings, pH-Neutral - Liter (34oz) - The Rag Company - The Cyclone Ultra Wash Mitts - 70/30 'Gauntlet' Blend Korean Microfiber, Foam Padding, Scratch-Free, Lint-Free, Great for Rinseless Washing, 8in x 9in, Blue + Black (2-Pack) - CARPRO Reload 2.0 Spray Sealant, Silica + Siloxane Ceramic Spray for Ceramic Coating, Super Hydrophobic, Self-Cleaning: Improved Gloss, Slickness, Water Spot & Chemical Resistance - 500mL (17oz) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/51312930-carpro-reset-maintenance-shampoo](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/51312930-carpro-reset-maintenance-shampoo) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
