Review: Easy to install. Looks great on the wall. - Really easy to install. The instructions are very simple to understand and have picture illustrations. Any DIY person with a bit of experience will look at the rear and know exactly which terminals the supply goes (in) and your appliance (load) as it is engrained in the plastic. The back plate is not too chunky and fit nicely into a standard single socket. I found it easiest to cut my heater flex, attached, arrange the wires for a snug fit, then connect the supply wires. Give yourself plenty off spare cable as the loads connections are quite some distance from the flex inlet and will require around 3 inches of wiring to the rear to reach the connection points. The supply in connectors are all located to the right and was very easy to connect. They look really nice on the wall and I like having a indicator light on the spur simply because you know when there is power being supplied to the point when on and makes electrical fault finding a bit easier if something trips. After fitting this one as a tester I am not going to install all throughout my house to supply my electric heating system. They look really nice on once installed too. Highly recommend.

**Q: Is this a trailing edge dimmer switch please, for dimmable LEDs?**
A: The info states: "COMPATIBLE WITH LED ...... LAMPS: Thanks to the intelligent trailing edge dimmers having a lower minimum load than leading edge dimmers."
This implies to me that it is a trailing edge dimmer. However, the top left of the same page states that it is a leading edge dimmer, as does the 'specifications' pdf. This also states that the dimmer unit will emit a faint buzz. Clicking on the link to the 'user manual'' pdf takes me to Swordfish Paper Trimmers.

**Q: Can you still uses this as a 1 gang 1 way switch for bedroom**
A: I would suggest using a different switch BG NBS12 which is a 1 gang 2 way but you can use it as a 1 gang 1 way switch too.

**Q: can you use these switches for 1 way as well as 2 way**
A: I have just wired this four gang two way switch for one way operation, the wiring advice states live to common terminal and switched live to L1 terminal however this causes the lights to come on with the switches in the off position and be off in the on position. A continuity test showed that terminal L2 was acting as L!  and L1 was acting as L2, so I used L2 for switched live and all is well in the kitchen! Hope this helps.

**Q: What depth back box do I need for this?**
A: It says 35mm on the technical specs.

Really easy to install. The instructions are very simple to understand and have picture illustrations. Any DIY person with a bit of experience will look at the rear and know exactly which terminals the supply goes (in) and your appliance (load) as it is engrained in the plastic. Give yourself plenty off spare cable as the loads connections are quite some distance from the flex inlet and will require around 3 inches of wiring to the rear to reach the connection points. The supply in connectors are all located to the right and was very easy to connect.
