The iron rest is additional to the 124cms. When folded up the total length of the board (ie: from the floor to the top of folded legs is 160cms).Hope that helps. **Q: Hi, is the base of the ironing board made of mesh metal or solid metal, thank you,** A: Mesh metal , so nice and light. **Q: does it have a felt underlay?** A: No it doesn't have a felt underlay - it is fairly substantial foam and is a good surface to iron on. I do however find that it is a fairly heavy board to manoeuvre but am very pleased with it. **Q: Would the ironing board wobble if placed on laminate flooring? Few people who bought this board complains that it wobbles due to uneven leg lengths ..** A: We have had this board for 12 + months and wobbling has NOT ever been an issue. Great ironing board would strongly recommend. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best ironing board. *by A***. on 10 April 2026* Great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing ironing board *by A***A on 20 February 2024* very easy to put up, its light but not too light so it moves around too much, and the steam holder was the main reason i bought it and i can say that it held up very well with mountains of laundry ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This ironing board is excellent! *by A***R on 30 September 2024* This ironing board is excellent!
