I have only managed it once without hot water leaking all over me 😪 But have found that the water does stay hot enough in the black flask for atleast 3 hours (tested with a non contact thermometer in the early days). One bottle stores boiling hot water. I must add that this truly keeps water at a high temp for a very long time. 24 hours later and the water was still warm inside. The other one cools the water and milk formula to the correct temp so you can feed your baby within minutes. It will do all the work for you and indicate via a colour light exactly when the formula is safe to use and feed to your baby at the perfect temp. You do need to prep a little and make sure you have milk and bottles ready.
