### ⭐ Frustrating
*by L***S on December 9, 2025*

I bought this for my wife’s birthday April 2025. It’s now December 2025 and only 75% complete. My wife has given up on it, and now I’m trying to finish it for her. I now understand her frustration. First. The pieces are smaller than regular LEGO pieces. Second. The instructions are all graphic, but that’s where the issues start. Third. The instructions are color coded, but the completed pieces are all one color and when you get into the tree and the colorful blossoms, they run together making it extremely difficult to determine where pieces go. Fourth. I’m partially color blind. The main blossoms are dark purple, light purple and light blue. I had my wife indicate which was which in the instructions because the printed colors for the light purple and the light blue looked the same to me. Also, the illustrations showing where the light purple and light blue go are very difficult for me to see as they seem to fade into the same color as the completed sections. Fifth. At times the build order makes no sense, and places that should be supported are not. This instability is very frustrating and led to sections needing to be rebuilt over and over again. Regular glue that works for LEGO pieces, doesn’t seem to help with these. I’ve resorted to plastic solvent glue that is used for modeling, and sometimes it still collapses. Lastly, when building the tree, it is very difficult to see the thin black lines separating the brown bricks… An idea that might help is if the instructions broke the tree and blossom area into smaller, more manageable sections that could then be assembled into the completed tree.
