As a young child, my son sometimes forgets to take care of his Tamagotchi, and he gets really sad when it "leaves *_*" I wish there were an option to pause or put it on hold, especially for younger users who can’t monitor it all day. not as needy as i remember! you can also mute the tamohatchi by holding down the A and C buttons when needed. it’s fun to have on you and for the value it’s a great digital simple pet. It’s exactly how i remembered tamagotchis being when i was younger except it not being backlit
