I decided I wanted desert bases, so I painted it, but the natural earth colour is good enough if basing models quickly is your goal, I'm pleased with the finished results. It's also worth pointing out, you get a heck of a lot in a single tub. Review: Great basing product - Switched years ago to using this product to base my models for wargaming. Works well on plastic and MDF bases also used to good effect of foam board. ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 14 years. Works well on plastic and MDF bases also used to good effect of foam board. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great basing material *by D***N on 24 October 2020* I bought this texture paste after watching a miniac miniatures video that showcased it's use in a basing video and I was pleasantly surprised it is a bit thicker than the citadel agrellan earth texture paste but in a far larger tub so offers great value for money color wise it's fine without painting but for my needs I applied it before priming and was pleased with the results I would recommend using it with some small stones or other basing materials as the grit in the paste is of a pretty uniform size. I highly recommend this product ## Frequently Bought Together - Vallejo - Diorama FX Earth Textures | Dark Earth 200 ml (6.76 fl.oz.) | Premium Acrylic Color For Modelers & Miniature Enthusiasts - Vallejo - Diorama FX Thick Mud | European Mud 200 ml (6.76 fl.oz.) | Premium Acrylic Color For Modelers & Miniature Enthusiasts - Vallejo Rough Grey Pumice, 200ml, 6.76 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/51649882-vallejo-diorama-fx-earth-texture-acrylic-paint-200-ml-realistic](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/51649882-vallejo-diorama-fx-earth-texture-acrylic-paint-200-ml-realistic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
