My daughter has these knives and when I am at her house, cutting things is SO easy...even watermelon and tough skinned things like butternut squash. I love these knives and finally decided that I could gift them to myself! So, I did! Love them. They fit perfectly into my (small) hand and are uber sharp. If I had to mention one criticism...it is not of the knives, but of the block that comes with them. On one hand I really like that I can see through to which knife I am taking; one the other, the knives are so good that they really should have a more beautiful block to go in...a lovely wood.
