I got this product as recommendation from my doctor to help with my PMS symptoms (mostly mood). I have previously been prescribed anti-depressants for my extreme mood fluctuations before my period. I did not want to be on medications anymore so she recommended this. I was taking this for about three months and couldn’t really tell if I was noticing a difference. However, during this time I was also in a fitness challenge and my period happened to fall on the week I had to take my final photos last month. I was not bloated or puffy and had no mood swings. So come this month, I forgot to fill my pillbox and was not taking this supplement when I needed it the most. I usually start getting mood changes about a week before I start my period, which is honestly so debilitating for me and my poor family. I was a total wreck, my mood all over the place. Sadness, guilt, you name it. My moods came back with a vengeance! I feel like this product has definitely kept me stable and I am now confirmed a believer that it works.

Helps in bringing back dryness however, doesn't completely do the job. Used for 3 years and am trying something new.

I got this in hopes of balancing my hormones. I can always tell when they are off because my face gets dryer than normal, and I thought my constant post nasal drainage might also be a sign. I took this supplement until it was gone, but noticed no improvement and actually it affected my singing voice, which I didn’t know was a side affect. Google says it’s normal to have your voice deepen a little but it just made me a worse singer. 😭

The product looks as if the quality is fine packaging and shipping were perfect. After wanting to get this product for certain hormone support, I will have to do more research since it seems it does change the urine color and I’m not sure at what age or cycle this supplement is best for. Product is fine but I’m not sure it is a fit for me or if you’re able to take while pregnant nursing or wanting to get pregnant etc.. Still have to do more research I was alarmed as it does change the urine color.

I got this because I love the health attributes DIM has. Very simply said Dim removes the 'bad' estrogen (may). Now when we hear that we think of PMS or bloating etc. And yes while it does help with that dept (may) I am talking about the really bad estrogen that can lead to cancers, etc (may). Actually one of the sides of DIM is darkened urine with a strong odor which is a sign that your liver has released stored up bad estrogen (may). I only see that rarely and its usually when I start DIM and my estrogen is high and I have my dim stacked with Sulforaphane. I take Dim 4 days a week each week except when I start experiencing the high ups and downs with mood swings. I take it all week then, as it helps balance that out. Now speaking of mood swings there are the other ingredients in this that helps too. Nutricost usually is single ingredient company IMO so I am surprised to see these other ingredients and like what I see. The calcium of course for bone support. The black cohosh for hot flashes, night sweats and irritability (may). And the Dong Quai for cramps, irregular cycles, and PMS (may). So all of these ingredients are working together for a better feeling and happier you (may). Now they are not miracle workers so do not expect as much. They 'Help'. Some women notice huge improvements and some women notice very little or nothing at all. But the main thing IMO is reducing(may) the disease risk associated with that bad estrogen (may). Now nutricost has been around forever. I have been taking their supplements for decades. I always search for them on single ingredient or uncomplex supplements as they always seem to have the best prices IMO. Sometimes they have real bargains. And yes they third party test all their supplements and would not ever consider releasing anything other than what the bottle says to insure maintaining their excellent reputation. They disclose their ingredients are globally sourced like almost all the supplement companies do. But they disclose it (unlike others) which shows a nothing to hide product. This is a very good company IMO. As I stated this works well with Sulforaphane and I stack my DIM with that. It is certainly one way to try to make the DIM work stronger. There are plenty of articles you can research on that online. The dosage on this is at 400 mgs which is on the high end and I personally would not take more than that. It does not have any bad sides that I am aware of other than the dark colored urine and that's only a sometimes thing. I feel really good taking this as it makes me feel better protected with my health and it also helps with my moods. So great product, great company, great dosage and The best of Luck ! This is my favorite brand of DIM. I was already taking this product and find the quality excellent. Other brands sometime require me to take more to feel the same impact. This product consistently delivers what I need for my health purposes. I love that this is a brand I can feel confident in the quality of the products which is worth the price point in my opinion.
