I could tell when I opened the vacuum sealed bag, the aroma hit me, it was rich but subtle at the same time, smelled like it wouldn't be too bold, but once brewed (drip machine) it shocked me. It was bold, roasty, and chocolatey. Very smooth and goes well with cream or flavor creams, I tasted it black first, it was really great, for the price paid, I'm very satisfied, I just wish it was 3Lbs for a dollar more, that would be a great value. I added some coconut creamer and a couple pumps of caramel, and this coffee tastes amazing! Review: The flavor is everything I was hoping for - Man! Was I tired of trying to figure out what to do with my growing collection of plastic Folgers containers! They do not store in a convenient space saving area until you have enough to make a trip to the recycle point. And for what I paid for Folgers, the flavor was barely acceptable. This is my new coffee of choice. The dark ground coffee has a beautiful life-is-good and mornings-are-tolerable flavor. And this is a good amount for the price. I empty just over 1/2 the bag into the empty last Folgers container I ever bought, and save the rest of the bag in the freezer. Then I nearly fill that canister again when ready. After a couple weekends past, I found this to be bland. I am a bit spoiled to have a Keurig at work, and the office pays for hoards of flavors. I don't like the waste, so we have a nice machine at home, using recyclable brown paper filters. I had this coffee in my monthly save & subscribe , after receiving 2 bags, I have removed it.
