The main issue is it does not ring clearly very consistently. I had to unscrew the cap a few turns to make it ring easier and more clearly, but then it is loose and does not stay in the optimal position. I tried using Teflon tape to ‘tighten’ the threads but didn’t quite work... I could probably use loctite but haven’t tried that yet. If pink cap is screwed down firmly it is more difficult to push the lever and makes more of a clinking sound rather than clean ding dong. 2.5 maybe, if I could. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bell! It is a solid bell that I do not think will break. The bell has a fun ding dong and it definitely gets people’s attention on the bike trail. The bell had to be mounted to the left handlebar to work. So if you are looking for a bell to go on the right side of your handlebar this may not be the bell for you.
