Review: Brilliant microphone - Great microphone I purchased originally a sound card and microphone prior to ordering my MacBook Air m4 machine last year, With a view to create podcasts and zoom sales calls sadly the previous one was not up to scratch so desperately as setting up my home office chose this as it seemed to be plug and play On arrival I was amazed the connection was straight away just plug setup zoom and it was on a desertcart spring deal so value for money compared to previous one I had Weight is light also completed to previous one Sound quality is great too I kept my old boom arm and added this mic can pick up when I forget to turn off YouTube videos and sounds for talking it great too just remember if you loom or zoom and in pc or Mac settings to add the mic as it’s named microphone otherwise it will be not working Never bought the arm as already had one but happy with purchase and connectivity and functionality works very well for my projects Weight also is very light bit like a singing microphone on a karaoke machine bottom screws on great to boom arm but can also use as a desk microphone with a holding stand weight is about 4grams No issues thank you desertcart

**Q: Will this work on an iPad?**
A: Yes I'm sure it will work on iPad. It has a USB C to USB C connection. Assuming the iPad allows 3rd party mic connections.

**Q: Why is the country of origin China for the Sennheiser profile microphone? It is supposed to be Germany!**
A: then your apple products should be made in america...almost all companioes outsource to china for cheaper labour

**Q: If I get just the mic and stand version can you screw the stand off and use your own boom arm or must you get the boom arm too?**
A: You have to attach the circular stand to bottom of mount when you unpack. Is a standard arm mount screw so just attach to that instead. 
Fitted to arm from my blue yeti and fits perfectly. BTW this is a much better Mic than the yeti

**Q: Does this work with a MacBook Pro**
A: Yes, I have a MacBook Air M1 and it works with the new Apple chips.
