I was very nervous about changing it, but It was amazingly easy and straightforward to wire up-the instructions were very clear. The wiring system is well presented and the wiring connection screws are nice and solid -you really know you have made the connection and it wont work loose. The unit fits well in the cars towing socket and it feels very snug-but easy to insert and remove. Overall I am quite impressed with the quality of the plug-particularly since it was less than half the price of many others. It is rare to find things that are relatively cheap but functionally very well made-that is important given that you rely on it working correctly when on the road.

This is really good value. I purchased this to replace a broken trailer board socket. I was very nervous about changing it, but It was amazingly easy and straightforward to wire up-the instructions were very clear. The wiring system is well presented and the wiring connection screws are nice and solid -you really know you have made the connection and it wont work loose. The unit fits well in the cars towing socket and it feels very snug-but easy to insert and remove. Overall I am quite impressed with the quality of the plug-particularly since it was less than half the price of many others. It is rare to find things that are relatively cheap but functionally very well made-that is important given that you rely on it working correctly when on the road.
