Thanks** A: I apply a section of Viscopaste bandage to a wound on my ankle, covering it with a pad of gauze bandage, held place by strips of Micropore tape. **Q: my son suffers from severe eczema under his neck, hands, and behind all his joints. would this be ok for him? he is 11.** A: I bought the Viscopaste bandage for my daughter who has always suffered badly with eczema but it went into overdrive when she was preparing for GCSE's and now A Levels. We haven't actually tried the bandage yet, as after much nagging my daughter finally conceded to taking dairy products out of her diet completely and her Eczema improved dramatically within a couple of weeks. Teamed with another bandage/stocking over the top they work great on eczema and likely other things like ulcers. Just make sure they're applied correctly with a pleat in so that they don't affect circulation when the cream dries out a bit. I used these during steroid withrawal and then for the odd patch on my ankle.
