You start with a basic hand of cards and your own asymmetric personal market for better more improved cards. Each player has their own separate unique market with their cards having different abilities when bought and/or played. The aim of the game is to gain Victory Points via the major and minor challenges and purchases from the market. You do this by drilling into the game board, laying black tiles to show where you've drilled. Any symbols on the board that you cover provide you with resources, bombs or artefacts. Every time the last artefact on that particular board is covered the next depth board is placed below the current one, whilst the previous top board is removed to ensure that there is only two boards on the table at any one time. Once the last artefact is covered, the game ends.I really like this game. There are 4 boards (though in a 2 player game only 3 are used) and all are double sided giving some variation for future playthroughs. I liked how the player decks are asymmetric as it meant that your strategy wasn't necessarily the same.
