This size is intended for a Barrelponics (1/2 of a 55g drum} grow bed (5 square feet ) but will probably work on a gb twice that size. If you need one for your IBC size system just ccheck out the larger sizes we list. We also have shorter ones for your 8" deep or shorter grow beds. We realize that many of you can make your own but it does take the right tools and pipe, etc which can really add up. Unless you are going to need 10 or more like we did, it may not pay to make your own. What you get is: One 3" pvc gravel shield x 12" High One 2" pvc bell x 10" high with cap and pull handle, (looks very cool) One pair male and female threaded adapter with "o"ring to match for the bulkhead adapter Two 3/4" 90s One 6" and one 5" and one 3" pieces of 3/4" pvc pipe One 3/4" to 1 1/4" adapter for "Bernoulli effect" Also check us out and "Like" us on FB at Smoky Mountain Aquaponics and ck out our pics of our GH system. It is cut for 10" media depth but I can modify it if needed. Other than that the volume of a half barrel is the same cut either way so it should work fine, Jim, SMA **Q: Is the bulk head attacment incuded?** A: Yes it is and you can see it in the photos and description BUT it is only good for the thickness of a barrel for which it is intended. If you are using it for say 1/2" plywood with liner you will need to purchase a 3/4" slip/slip bulkhead adapter and you should alert me to cut the standpipe 3/4" longer as they work differently.
