A: They are blue...they also have black too..just make sure before you buy them. Its in blue for the color..

**Q: Does the ink smear or rub off on shiny coated paper?**
A: It has smeared on every surface I've written on.  You are probably better off with an ultra fine point sharpie type pen on glossy paper
