### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mouse, out of the ones I tried. Wish the pinky-area had more contours though.
*by B***T on September 17, 2019*

I recently purchased over 10 vertical mouses. This one is probably ONE of the best. Only complaint I have though is that the place where your pinky rests is very smooth and is sloped inwards from the bottom. If you reversed the contour so that it made a little "cliff" or overhang which was just high enough for your pinky finger to rest underneath, you could have one corner of your finger resting on the mousepad and the other corner hooked under the mouse which would make for quick movements. Lifting and moving the mouse is a common gesture while using a mouse... and if you have to pick up something which is shaped like a pyramid, it's much harder than if you pick up something which is shaped like a... small flowerpot or something. You get what I'm saying, many great mice on the market slope outwards instead of inwards where the pinky rests. If you try to pick up the mouse without gripping too hard, the mouse slips out of your grasp. It's a bad feature. You need a sloped overhang, and a corner to get underneath with that little finger.VERY close to being a perfect mouse though. With that design flaw, I would have to give it no higher than 7/10. With a little pinky-grip, you're looking at 11/10 easy.***ONE MORE THING***I purchased this after reading a bad review which complained that the FWD/BACK buttons were placed too far back and that it was hard for him to reach the BACK button. I would have to say that the man is wrong. I came into this thing skeptical, but the man is simply holding the mouse improperly, or hasn't gotten used to the mouse yet. The mouse is adjustable on the thumb-rest and the tilt, so with those combinations, he should find one which feels more comfortable.I will admit that the BACK button is SMALLER than the FWD button, which is honestly backwards... they need to fix that ASAP and figure out whoever thought the FWD should be larger... so they can fire him. Any google search can show you that the FWD button is used 1/40th of the amount as the BACK button. But yea, their placement was ultimately fine, relative to where they are positioned on the mouse. They really need to add some contour to the pinky rest though, otherwise this mouse is unusable for me. I keep going to move it and my pinky slips off, then I have to grab it again and actually squeeze it with some force to pick it up without slipping. That's the type of thing which causes Carpel's-tunnels.Thumbs-up for bringing back the "Middle-Button" pan clicker!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent mouse. Saved my wrist.
*by T***S on July 30, 2024*

After a couple of years of use this mouse is still holding up strong, and it's absolutely quality in every sense. The adjustable angle and height is a big reason I was able to recover from CTS without needing surgery on my wrist. The hinge is very beefy, and the overall frame feels nice and big, while still packing away into a normal sized package when you need to transport it. My only complaint would be that there's nowhere to store the USB signal emitter on the mouse, and it's very small so you could lose it easily if you're not careful. The slot for the charging port is almost the same size as the USB end, so it seems like it could have been widened a little to allow the signal emitter to be stored there. Possibly, in a future model.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the best vertical mouse, unfortunately
*by T***A on June 18, 2021*

EDIT: I have added extra edits to my comments after 2 years of usagePlease solve these problems. You're on a goldmine and you're not capitalizing on it.Due to hand pain after 20 years of mouse abuse and competitive gaming, I've had to look for a vertical mouse option that has a good sensor. This mouse seems to be literally the only option. I did try the Evoluent 4 out of desperation, but the sensor was unusably bad.The thumb buttons on this mouse are essentially inaccessible for two different reasons. It's uncomfortable raising your thumb over the thumb-grip lip, and not only that, but the actual thumb buttons are way further back than any other mouse I've ever touched. The forward-most thumb button is further back than most rear thumb buttons. EDIT: I have gotten used to them in general windows usage, but for gaming they are still useless. I suggest adding two extra buttons for the pointer finger to push, like those found on the Roccat Leadr or the Steelseries Rival 500. I think these are better than thumb buttons anyway. The scroll wheel is somewhat loose. Some other mice have a better balance on the pressure. Additionally, the actual mouse buttons themselves are not parallel with your fingers. Your fingers rest on the mouse diagonally perpendicular to the mouse buttons, so if you scroll with your middle finger, your middle finger will now be further away from the wheel than usual. EDIT: With a very relaxed claw grip I have somewhat negated this downside, but it's still a downside if full-palming the mouse during gaming. If you don't fully palm grip the mouse, your fingertips will be further back on the mouse buttons meaning the buttons will require a greater force to actuate, meaning every middle or right click will move the entire mouse. EDIT: With 2 years of usage I have mostly negated this, but it requires extra force from your thumb & wrist to maintain stability. I have not played FPS games with the mouse however. If you want to play low-sens fps with lots of fast sweeps while keeping the mouse fully raised, you'll have to literally apply force downwards with your thumb or the mouse will flip onto its side. I don't think this is a solvable problem with the nature of the mouse. EDIT: It's probably a little more solvable with long-term usage than I thought but it's still a downsideTo say some good things, the sensor is very good. The comfort is roughly equal to the evoluent 4. The position customization is novel. The software is good. The 10 dpi steps ensure that you will find what you need. Please make a revised version that fixes these problems and change the branding to not look and sound like a $10 office mouse. There is a void in the gaming/office community for those with hand pain, and this mouse is too flawed to solve our problems.
