Having a problem with my eyesight, I needed a reasonably strong magnifier for reading, something stronger to read small print and a very strong glass for use in identifying components used in electronics. Some of the products advertised, I am sorry to say were nowhere near good enough for what I needed. Then I found this product • Magnifying Glass With Light, 5.5 Inch Extra Large Hand Magnifier- 3 Bright LEDs Illuminated- 2X 5X Magnification Lens- Lightweight- Easy to Use and Sold by BiliTown.. The description did everything it said on the tin, so I ordered them. They arrived today 3/5/20. When they arrived I put in some batteries and used the 2x glass first, then the 5x glass. Those two glasses certainly were as described on the website, I was able to read with ease. No more struggling or squinting my eyes trying to read. Now for the 16x smaller glass. No more using two sets of glasses, one on top of the other. I can now identify every component with clarity and ease. No more making mistakes because I could not see the tiny values printed on transistors and capacitors etc. In conclusion, this product I found to be very well made, of good quality materials and is exactly what I was looking for and at a cost which was very pleasing to my wallet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but the design and packaging could be improved *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 28 October 2018* Two top points: 1) Interchangeable lenses; 2) LED light. I didn't realise how useful it would be to have lenses of different strengths. Sometimes it's good to have the additional magnification (e.g. looking for a tiny wood splinter) but sometimes you just want basic magnification (e.g. reading a label without your glasses on). The LED is brilliant for when there's less natural light around.The lenses are really fiddly to change (you have to depress two small indents on opposite sides of the handle) and this seems like a big design flaw; there's no need for it to be this hard. I have average to small fingers and I find it fiddly, so someone with fat fingers or maybe someone with arthritis could really struggle. The handle is a comfortable size though, and the lenses are very secure when fitted.It also would be nice if there were a proper case for these to live in, or even just a soft pouch, rather than the moulded plastic tray inside the cardboard box. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not suitable for people with very poor eye sight *by C***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 20 November 2020* The clasp to change the lenses is ridiculously stiff so of no use to the elderly. But you can simply use the lenses without the handle (although that is not as convenient). The magnification might be fine but I am returning them as my mother, who has macular degeneration, can't use it at all. The highest magnification lens has too small a surface area to be of use to her for reading or looking at her phone. The largest (in size) lens is also not that great in terms of area it covers.
