Northwest TerritoryMen's Creston Lace Up Full Grain Leather Waterproof Hiking/Walking/Outdoor Boot

I bought my usual size 10 and there's a good inch between the end of my big toes and the inside front of the boots. Thankfully they lace up nice and tight so its not a problem. Others have said they don't require any breaking in but they must have tougher feet than me as I find them quite uncomfortable still after several short walks, mainly around the ankles and tops of the boots (perhaps because of how tightly I've had to lace them up?). I'm sure they will soften up with time and use though. I've not used to hem in serious wet weather yet so can't comment on how waterproof they are but I did treat them with Nikwax before wearing them for the first time as added protection (though the spray-on waterproofing wax doesn't really take as they are smooth leather, you need to use the stuff you rub in).

I've got three pairs of old Northwest Territory boots in various stages of wear and needed at least one new pair for the coming winter season. Unfortunately exactly the same size boot wasn't exactly the same size!Have the brand switched to a new supplier or has something in the manufacturing process changed?Returned, very disappointed!

I've purchased Northwest Territory for years now but the last two pairs have rubbed my right heel raw. First time I thought it was bad luck but after second pair were the same I realised it must be a manufacturing defect. I've since bought other boots and they're fine so these must be defective. Strange that its only the right foot though.

Boots are described as waterproof, but I get wet feet even walking through not so long grass ,water comes in through toung under the laces

I have only just received them but I am already delighted by the quality and fit. They certainly seem to be a hard-wearing and durable boot, but only time will tell, obviously. I also love the fact that they come with spare laces and a carry bag. Very pleased so far!

Used to go waking it ended up raining and my feet was soaked after a 4 mile walk and the insoles was moving around under my foot wasn’t a pleasant experience walking around like that
