I once made a U-shaped splint with this for a shattered ankle. Can be molded and stiffened for any shape splint you need. Attach splint with loose bands of cloth or the like. Helps stabilize broken bones and joints to provide pain relief as you seek medical care. REUSABLE! Simply put-if you enjoy the back country, the beach, camping as much as I do, you should carry this $11 item with you. There is a tremendous difference between walking out on a broken bone and, and walking out with a splinted bone.
