A: Only thing I can think is block the receiver for the LED lights because maybe both remotes use IR signals and changing channels would also change the lights.

A: What???!! Wow that’s so weird! Maybe something to do with the usb plug? Are you plugging the light strip usb end into your tv or USB port? If so that may be why. Gotta plug these lights into a wall outlet in order to get the best results I’ve experienced

these actually are the worst. I bought this brand almost two years ago and they were so great I decided to reorder them. the ones I ordered a year ago were smooth flowing lights, not little dots you can see in the cord. so the new package I was assuming would be the same, SINCE it’s the same brand and length. nope. these ones look cheap. Really dissatisfied and going to return.
