These are great!  I am not sure just how long they will hold up, but at this price I am not concerned.  I buy them in batches of three.  The first three I have used for several months up at our summer cottage.  They worked fine at one flame setting for a month or so and then I needed to turn up the flame to get them to work.  I tried filling them with more fuel but still needed to turn up the flame to get a consistent light.  Don't know why.  They seem to be working fine at the new flame-height setting.  My wife has a bit of a hard time pushing the plunger fast enough to get it to light consistently.  They work fine for me.  So, in all, I really like the large wind-proof flame and recommend them.  Just bought a second batch of three for use at home.

The one I received worked for about two weeks and then the plunger quit igniting the gas.  Even when it did work, it would act like it was low on fuel when it got down to below half full.  I had to click it several times to get the flame to ignite.  Many times, it had to be held upside down to produce a flame.  I have always wanted a jet flame lighter, but I want one that works longer than two weeks.
