The Cuisinart was a nightmare to keep clean.This seems built well and has a nice look to it. I use beans that are on the oily side and this has zero problems with the beans.One small thing is I always end up with a bit of coffee grinds on the counter while it’s in use. It’s very small and I can’t find where it’s coming from exactly. After a couple months of use, it gave me fine espresso powder and a real rough chop all in the same use. My review was a 1 and I have to change it to the 5 stars it deserves. I was about ready to scrap this one and get another brand. Now, at 8 months, I discovered it was my error that caused the problem... when cleaning the grinder assembly, I was not turning it all the way to the locked position. I thought I had, but I needed to turn it until I heard the click. When I did not do this, the grinder head dances around plus the grind selection knob moves on its own.
