We opened it on New Year’s Eve and they have played it 4 times already. Our 11 year old was more interested in helping to read the instructions and act as a guide. The theme is super cute and the pictures are great. The decoder is just like the regular Exit games which makes for a good transition and it is the same great quality as the regular games. I do think it would be best for ages 4-8 but depending on the child, older kids can still enjoy it. Our kids are 10 & 8 and this was definitely too easy for them. We know the age the box suggest but wanted to try it any way. We had fun doing it, but it definitely didn't provide any challenges. It would be super great for younger kids. We loved that it allows for the whole family to work together.
