The powder has a content of 11.95% and adults need 300 to 400 mg of magnesium per day. This corresponds to 2.51 - 3.35 g Nigari. Our recommendation: Dissolve 3 measuring spoons in 1 glass of water twice a day and drink on an empty stomach if possible. - SUITABLE FOR TOFU PRODUCTION: The Nigari powder serves as a coagulant when combined with soy milk and is therefore ideal for making tofu yourself. - MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE FROM GERMANY: Nigari is an Epsom salt, which is traditionally extracted from the sea water off the coast of Japan. As many concerns were expressed about this after the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, EnergyBalance decided to use magnesium chloride produced in Germany. It is produced from raw brine from the Zechstein Sea. - NO ANIMAL INGREDIENTS: The vegetable Nigari powder is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. It is also lactose and gluten free. - PREMIUM QUALITY FROM SWITZERLAND: All our products are manufactured in Switzerland under the highest quality standards: Highest bio-availability, vegetable raw materials, GMO-free and hyperallergenic food supplements. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00ALULJGS | | ASIN | B00ALULJGS | | Allergen Information | Contains: Peanut Free | | Brand Name | EnergyBalance | | Container Type | Powder | | Cuisine | Japanese | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (342) | | Customer reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (342) | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Is discontinued by manufacturer | No | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Package Weight | 0.6 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 500 Grams | | Item model number | EB-2451 | | Manufacturer | EnergyBalance AG | | Manufacturer | EnergyBalance AG | | Model Number | EB-2451 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Part Number | EB-2451 | | Product Dimensions | 13 x 8.5 x 7 cm; 500 g | | Size | 500 g (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | Vegan | | Unit Count | 500.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Allergen information:** Contains: Peanut Free - **Brand:** EnergyBalance - **Item weight:** 500 Grams - **Speciality:** Vegan - **Unit count:** 500.0 gram ## Images ![Magnesium Chloride (Nigari) Powder, 500g - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61exXfU4n+L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I was concerned about salts harvested in japan indeed. is this product similar to the japanese one and does it occur naturally in germany? safe?** A: Hello, Yes this product is similiar to the one we had from Japan. The german product has pharmaceutical quality, not 100% naturally. We get very positive feedback for this substitute from Germany. Also from citizens from Japan and Asia. Kind regards, your EnergyBalance Team **Q: It says it’s produced in germany and manufactured in switzerland. which do we believe? this sounds dubious already.** A: Hello, as written on the label: Made by EnergyBalance Switzerland. Origin: Germany.
