I did like this addition as I have always liked Batgirl and the portrayal of the character here is quite good. Also introduced into this series is one of the few major villains not to have appeared yet in the series Poison Ivy as well as a couple of minor villains from the comics and some new ones made specifically for the show. The Batman continues to improve in this third season with some good animation and great scripts that bring the characters to life very well. The show is still not perfect thought and there are some flaws such as the series overly episodic nature but this is easily overlooked as the overall quality of the show is so good and is well worth four and half stars. Thanks ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still improving *by M***T on 27 August 2014* Another step forward for this series. Poison Ivy is a great addition to the enemies that batman faces, and the introduction of Batgirl in the same story is handled very well indeed. There are changes to the back story of both charactors to bring them more in line with the younger audience that this take on the Batman is aimed at, but i like what they have done with both. Around these big additions there is more background build up of charactors like Hugo Strange, and a welcome reintroduction to Scarface that is both funny and a bit sad at the same time.
