**Q: What do you load on the pc to access the console for this cable? does the sw come with it?**
A: It was plug and play. I connected it to my usb-c to usb dongle on my Mac and it worked without any additional software.

**Q: Does this cable work for cisco devices?**
A: I can tell you it did NOT work with an Aruba switch.
