It has worked great so far (had it less than a week). It is actually a Logitech mic inside Madcatz packaging. I didn't care about the brand, I just wanted something that will work and this one does. I even bought a second one so two of us could sing at the same time. I like that is has some "heft" to it, doesn't feel flimsy.This part is just an aside - not related to the performance of the mic. After buying this, I bought a used one at a local store so we would have two. Once we finally realized that the cigarette smell was coming from the mic (ewww!), I returned it and bought a new one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ booo *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2011* I bought 2 mics. One came with a dent on top and the other didn't work at all. Buying a "Rock Band 3 mic" for the Wii WILL NOT help with the vocal issues the game is having on Wii. Some songs it slightly helps deploy Overdrive, but it doesn't help too much. So all i have now is an extra mic and one that needs to be returned. Just have to keep dealing with the mic issues on Wii. No getting around it much unless trying things they suggest on the Rock Band forums/blog. Unfortunately, lately, it seems you can only purchase these mics online. The stores are getting very limited or not carry much for these games. I think Rock Band and Guitar Hero made too many products in the early stages of these games. It got really popular eventually and now the hype is dying down. Now they are trying to sell what crap they have left to get it out of the warehouses.
