**Q: Will this work with the yellow antifreeze? I had my system flushed from the orange coolant and added the yellow coolant back in that ford recommends.**
A: Yes VC-8 is for  diesel engines with green or yellow coolant. VC-12 is for orange. I use a pre-charged SCA coolant that's a light purple color. When its SCA gets low per test strips, I use this VC-8 to bring the level back to service specs.

**Q: Is it ok for 2016 f350 6.7 ?**
A: No, don't use VC-8. Your year diesel would use VC-12 - Motorcraft® Specialty Orange Engine Coolant

**Q: Do you still  need this if you're using coolant specifically for diesel it's for 99 powerstroke**
A: It was made for the 91-93 IDI's thin cylinder walls. It gives the coolant more surface area. It won't hurt. This product is similar to water wetter.
