Once you update the software and you are viewing via an HDMI cable on a HDTV as I am, then all the frame rate issues disappear. I think this is the only reason people have been giving it bad reviews. But when sorted it is a truly awesome game. I used to love PES but was swayed back to FIFA in recent years but this game has made me come back again. I like FIFA for all the glitz and glamour but it cant quite compete with the sheer fun of PES and playing online is better with PES as you always have somebody to play as opposed to FIFA where I found it very frustrating trying to get opponents! The ball physics are excellent which makes each game unpredictable. It's like a classic car - doen't have all the mod cons but it's great to drive and has passion - something which is lacking in the newer versions of Pes, yes technically great but without the passion.
